One of the best aspects of this particular show is that you get to snoop around the Erno Goldfinger designed Haggerston School. Lots of aesthetic use of concrete which was the first of its kind in the UK.

There will be lots of mid century modern furniture here. Its the best show of its kind.

Free Entry

London Design Week describes itself as "A sophisticated showcase of style, imagination and creative invention that features exciting product launches, impressive installations, curated tours and trails, workshops, demonstrations and a roster of influential speakers ready to share their expertise."

It certainly makes for a great day out even if you can't afford the price tag of many of the designer products. It is free after all and where else can you arrive in style in the smart courtesy transport, and get the inside scoop at the many talks or showroom sessions. All you have to pay for is lunch.

Friday 18th March - 3rd April

10am - 6pm Daily, Thursdays open until 9pm

Entrance £12 on weekdays, £14 on the weekend or Easter bank holidays.

The BIGGIE! If you want to see celebrity guest speakers like Laurence Llewlyn Bowen watch chefs such as Jean Christophe Novelli  cooking up  a storm and see a mind boggling display of home wares, this is the show for you.

Sunday 20th March 2016

10:30 am - 4:30 pm

Entry £2.

Voted ‘BEST FAIR’ by the Vintage Guide to London & the go-to place for the old-world home. A little more affordable than some strictly mid century shows this veers towards general retro/vintage but you never know what you may find...
